Who we are
Restoring vision, and dignity, one patient at a time
Zainab Memorial Welfare Society is a non-profit society working out of Aroti, Pirmahal. We provide free eye treatments and surgeries to people who would otherwise go blind from conditions that are entirely treatable.
Eye care is the core of everything
Screening, medicines, spectacles and surgery, funded end to end and followed up after discharge.
Every rupee is accounted for
Camp-by-camp costs are published for donors, including what was spent and how many patients it reached.
Our mission
Treatment should never depend on what a family earns
We exist to close the gap between people who need eye care and people who can pay for it. Everything we run is free at the point of use, and everything we spend is reported back to the donors who made it possible.

We are working towards a future where quality eye care reaches every village in our district, regardless of what a family can afford, and where preventable blindness is caught early rather than managed late.
What we do
The programmes we run
Healthy food
Monthly ration packs and cooked meals during Ramadan and in the weeks after a medical emergency.
Medical facilities
Free eye examinations, medicines, spectacles and surgeries, plus basic primary healthcare at every camp.
Education
Awareness sessions on hygiene and eye health, and school supplies for children in the households we serve.

The waiting list is still long
PKR 8,000 covers one cataract operation. PKR 1,200 covers a full screening with spectacles. Every gift goes into the next camp.
